Helping women heal from birth trauma and overwhelming fears.
Alira is a virtual women’s mental health and wellness practice built by women, for women. Our care is trauma-informed, faith-friendly, and centered on the whole woman, her emotions, hormones, story, and wellbeing. We provide fast, compassionate, deeply personalized support for women navigating overwhelm, mood changes, trauma, postpartum transitions, and emotional dysregulation.
Our approach is designed to be safer, quicker, and more supportive than traditional mental health care—so you feel understood, empowered, and truly seen.
This is care designed for women’s real lives.
This is healing reimagined.

Our intensive support pathway is designed for women needing a higher level of care during moments of emotional overwhelm, postpartum instability, maternal trauma, or acute stress. We offer structured, trauma-informed, faith-friendly support with increased therapy frequency, close monitoring, and personalized stabilization to help you feel grounded, safe, and supported.

Alira Wellness is designed for women who need continued mental health support without the structure of an intensive program. We offer psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and optional individual therapy.
This level of care is ideal for women seeking outpatient psychiatric support, referred for medication management, or stepping down from Alira’s Intensive Outpatient Program.

Alira Connect is our free alumni community, a safe, supportive online space for women who have completed care with us. Stay encouraged, inspired, and connected through shared stories, continued guidance, and a nurturing circle of women walking similar journeys. Healing doesn’t end when treatment does, and neither does our support.
Not at all. Alira is faith-friendly, not faith-exclusive. While some providers and patients may bring spiritual practices into their healing, participation is completely optional. Our focus is compassionate, evidence-based care that honors your values and beliefs.
Yes. Many women begin Alira IOP during pregnancy. We specialize in supporting women through perinatal anxiety, depression, and trauma. Our clinicians are trained to provide safe, appropriate care that supports both you and your baby.
Alira offers psychiatric evaluations and medication management alongside therapy, when appropriate. You’ll have a consistent provider who can discuss treatment options and make sure medications are safe for pregnancy, postpartum, or fertility treatments if that applies to you.
We work with several major insurance providers and also offer private-pay options. Coverage depends on your plan and state. During intake, our team will verify your benefits and walk you through costs so there are no surprises.
Alira is more structured and supportive than weekly therapy alone. Our Intensive Outpatient Program combines group sessions, individual therapy, and if needed medication management. This higher level of care helps you stabilize more quickly, build a strong support system, and feel less isolated during one of the most tender seasons of your life.
You’ll participate in group therapy 3–4 times per week, paired with individual sessions and optional medication support. Sessions are held virtually, so you can attend from the comfort of your home. Most women tell us the structure feels manageable while still allowing them to care for their families, work, and daily responsibilities.
Fast. Most women begin within 24–36 hours of contacting us. We know that when you’re struggling, waiting weeks for an appointment can feel impossible. That’s why Alira was designed for rapid intake and immediate support.
Alira was the first place I felt truly understood as a mother.
